Legal requirements
What the law requires
Since 19 June 2026, the requirements of Directive (EU) 2023/2673 on the withdrawal function apply to distance contracts with consumers. This is how the module helps you apply them.
Simple withdrawal statement
Customers must be able to declare their withdrawal easily and directly online.
Information duties
Customers must be informed clearly and understandably about the withdrawal and its consequences.
Confirmation of receipt
Customers must receive confirmation that their withdrawal was received.
Timely implementation
The option to withdraw must be available throughout the whole withdrawal period.
The module helps you apply the rules. It is not legal advice and does not decide whether a right of withdrawal exists for a specific contract.

The obligation does not depend on where your company is based, but on who you sell to. If your store sells to consumers in Germany, check whether the German rules apply to you.

Which PrestaShop versions are supported?
Module version 1.8.0 supports PrestaShop 1.6.1 to 9.x, with its own download for 1.6.1.24, 1.7.0.6, 1.7.6.9, 1.7.8.11, 8.0.4, 8.1.7, 8.2.7, 9.0.3 and 9.1.4. Choose your exact version before buying. Themes and third-party modules should still be reviewed for your store environment.
What does the licence include?
The perpetual licence covers one production installation and one associated staging or development installation. Multistore is included within the licensed installation.
Is the module also suitable for other EU countries?
The obligation does not depend on where your company is based, but on who you sell to. If your store sells to consumers in Germany, check whether the German rules apply to you. B2B-only stores that sell exclusively to businesses are generally not affected, because the right of withdrawal belongs to consumers. If you also sell to consumers, that no longer holds. If in doubt, get legal advice on how the rules apply to your products and markets.
How do I get support?
Six months of support for installation, configuration, use and reproducible module defects. It excludes customization, third-party modules, hosting or server work and general store maintenance. No public SLA is offered. Send your requests to info@psdevs.com.
Does the module make my store compliant?
The module helps you apply the withdrawal function. Whether a right of withdrawal exists for your contracts, and how it applies, remains a legal question for your store.
